THE DOGS NEEDS MORE THAN LOVE

                                                     BY CAMILA GIRALDO

Ever since I got memory, I always wanted a dog. When I was seven I said, “ For my birthday I only want a dog, his name will be Toby “.

After that, I counted the days and I thought all the time in my new pet. In my mind I did everything with Toby. We went to the school, we played basketball, we rode a bike and a horse. Sometimes we cooked pizza, we slep together, we saw terror movies and walked in the park. I really wanted stay with Toby.

When the day came, I woke so early, I took a shower and I wore my new clothing for wait my new best friend. In the afternoon, my parents made a party with my family and my friends. We played with a clown, sang karaoke and ate a delicious cake, some candys and hot dogs with soda. I was happy and the other kids were too happy, either.

But when the time came to open the gifts, I looked my parent`s gift because I hoped find my dog. After that, I opened so fast the gift and I was cry.  It was the Barbie`s dog. It was awful !.

Thirteen years later, my parents didn´t give me a dog. After that, one day I decided buy the dog, then I searched for few weeks on the internet my future Toby. Finally  I bought a Cocker Spaniel. He was beautiful, he was little and had a big ears . He liked eat curtains, walls and shoes. He was really playful.

But the true is I love a lot the animals, but I don`t have time for care them. One month later, I had to give Toby to my boyfriend`s uncle. The firsts days was really terrible but it was the better. My parents was right.
