One day in my childhood By Daniela Gil Alvarez

Many years ago when I was 5 years old. I lived with my parents and my grandparents. My grandmother had a store next to the house. I sat outside the store every day in the afternoon on a step and I helped to my grandmother to sell while my dad worked and my mom studied.
Many people went there every day and we saluted to my grandmother and me.
One day the store was very busy. There were many people were buying clothes, accessories and shoes and my grandmother was very entertaining and busy.

I went out to sit on the steps because inside there were many people.  At that time came an old man with long beard and mustache. He stopped where I was asking my name, he asked me who lived.  He asked me how many years had. That said,
‘‘You want to go play in a park.'' I was a little scared and so I did not answer him anything and stayed silent. He said, '' If you're walking with me I'll take you to a park.''

My mom and dad always told me that I could not talk to strangers or go with them, so I decided not answer anything but I said, ´´Well, I come, I will ask permission from my mom.´´   and I ran to the house to lock myself in my room because I knew that this man wanted to rob me.

I told this to my parents and my grandparents and they were terrified and they went outside to see if the man was still there but the man was gone already.
After that day I didn´t go back to talk to strangers and I never went back to sit in the warehouse scales.
