Anecdote. Eloisa Echeverri Farley

When I was five years old , on january vacations my parents decided to take a trip with my sisters and me. We went to tolu-coveñas, when we were there my mom said.”We are going to the mud volcano.”My sisters and I were  excited  because we had never been there before, and immediate we said yeah!. besides because some uncles and cousins were at this place.

When we got to the volcano, we went into the small one and the rest of the family were in the big one, because this volcano was the best. I had a wish to go to the big volcano and I said to my mom, “please I wanna go to the big one with my uncle memo.” She said, “yes.” But my mom didn’t want to go downstairs because she didn’t want to get dirty with the mud, so she called my uncle to catch me , she taked my hands and threw me down . My uncle couldn’t reach me and I went deep down on the mud, at this moment all the people were scare and they started to search me introducing  their hands in the mud. They didn’t find me until after 10 seconds, when finally my uncle found me and took my hair. Those 10 seconds were eternal  for my mom, and it is a very sad history because when my mother remembers that moment she thinks I would have died.
