Reality or fantasy (Olga C. Casas)

REALITY OR FANTASY.

7 years ago, I was with my friends in the Cocora Valley in Salento, a beautiful and very calm place, I was in a natural reservation that is to 20 minutes of the town.

The place to stay was magic, this place had the basic comforts and the food was excellent.  I could not have my phone, computer or watch because the objective was to be outside of the civilization.

Every day, we got up early and we made a journey for different places of this reserve, all activities were directed.

At 8:00pm, they turned off the lights and only we could use flashlights, we were doing campfires; my friends said jokes or terror histories.

To the breakfast, always somebody said that in the night he had listened something different to the normal noises of the forest, but we laughed because we believed that it was part of their jokes.

The penultimate night; two of my friends organized a joke because there was dark, they inflated a pump, they tied a dental silk and hung to one of the cabins; as always we sat down in the floor to speak after the activities that we made out, when they saw that were all together, one of them pulled the silk and the sheet floated, alone we saw something floating, when they saw frightened, one lit the flashlights and lit the sheet. It was horrible, we cried much, one of my friends was impressed and ran out of the room, she jumped the scales of two in two and damaged a scale and the handrails, we hardly sleep that night.

The following day in the dining room, among laughs, we told what had happened and other friend said of the strange noises that had felt, it was different to the others and the dogs howled, but we didn't believe; the guide listened and laughed, then in a previous chat to the exits of the day, he explained that it was all true, all who were staying there said the same and some said that they saw lights, he explained that the hotel was located on an indigenous cemetery and for that reason the museum; this the worst news that we receive, we still had a night to sleep there.

This night, nobody slept, we don't leave to our night campfires, put the mattresses in the floor to see if together we could sleep; at 2 o'clock, when we had managed to rest a bit, one of them murmured “Somebody comes, I listen steps.” It scared us; the dogs and the animals woke up, it was horrible, we listened chains, steps, whispers and it was this way like for 15 minutes approximately but for us it was an eternity, we talked all night between the sheets because nobody wanted to look outside.

At 5 am, were up and start packing, leave before the scheduled time.

However, it was one of the best weeks for all the experiences I had.
